Before you book
Online assessment: if you are non-speaking (non-verbal), use alternative communication or have additional support needs, please contact us first. We can discuss reasonable adjustments or whether an in-person or specialist assessment would be more suitable.
We consider individual needs. An existing diagnosis, trauma or disability does not automatically exclude you.
More about suitability and age
Tell us about any communication support, interpreter or accessibility needs before booking. If we cannot meet your needs through this pathway, we will discuss alternative services or timing.
The free neurodiversity quiz is for independent self-completion from age 16. This does not set the age for clinical assessment. Contact us with a parent or guardian about a child’s pathway. Free quizzes and educational screening do not provide a clinical ADHD or autism diagnosis.

What does it explore?
The clinical ADHD pathway explores whether ADHD may explain a person’s experiences. It is separate from an educational assessment of attention and learning needs.

Private ADHD assessment: questions before booking
Can I access the pathway from anywhere in the UK?
DTC supports people across the UK online. We arrange the clinical ADHD assessment route through our private clinical partner. Contact us to discuss the person’s age, needs and suitability for an online appointment; we do not offer face-to-face appointments.
Is a free ADHD test a diagnosis?
No. Our free neurodiversity screener can help you explore attention-related experiences and prepare questions. It cannot confirm or rule out ADHD. Clinical assessment is a separate process through the partner pathway.
What should I ask before paying?
Ask who will assess you, their professional registration, the current fee, what the assessment and report include, and what follow-up is available. If medication is part of your question, ask about that pathway and any ongoing costs before booking.
